Mulching is an excellent way to help keep invasive weeds away from your ornamental plantings.  It also helps the soil retain moisture and gives the landscape a finished look.  With our mulching services, a 2-3 inch layer of mulch is recommended however it is important not to "heap" the mulch at the base of the plant as this can easily cause problems for the plant.  Mulches come in a variety of materials and colors, the most popular being the "dark" bark mulch which we stock in bulk supply.  Grub control issues can also be discussed during our mulching service.
